Leasing Associate - Denver, CO

Are you a dynamic and entrepreneurial individual interested in a career in the commercial real estate field? We are looking for you to join our successful and fast growing brokerage team.   • 2-4 years of business to business sales experience, preferably in commercial real estate brokerage, and/or business development

Position Description:

We are seeking an entrepreneurially driven individual, interested in expanding their career in the commercial real estate industry, with a focus on our growing 2 million square foot In-House Retail portfolio.

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

  • Take an active role on new leases and renewals
  • Become a market expert by assessing market conditions and opportunities for growth
  • Develop, foster and implement marketing strategies for company owned properties
  • Grow database of retailers and brokers
  • Build relationships with actively expanding retailers, especially those new to a market
  • Work collaboratively with BSR executive team, asset management and property management teams

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Required 1-3 years of Commercial RE brokerage, Landlord representation, or retail leasing
  • Maryland, Virginia or DC real estate license
  • Self-starter and entrepreneurial by nature
  • Ability to work individually or within a team
  • Great organization

Assistant Lease Administrator - Manassas, VA

Position Description:

We are seeking an entrepreneurially driven individual, interested in assisting in all aspects of lease administration, including the abstracting of leases, rent adjustments, pass through billings, monitoring of critical dates, and researching technical issues.

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

  • Abstract/data enter leases, amendments and other real estate documents
  • Filing – maintaining electronic and paper lease files
  • Responsible for the collection of rents and monies due across the portfolio.
  • Prepare, mail, and track the return of estoppels and SNDA’s for property sale or refinance.
  • Assist with CAM reconciliations; pull invoices to support the annual CAM budgeting process.
  • Log Tenants’ Gross Sales, prepare and send letters when delinquent.
  • Assist with the annual Budget process for the portfolios
  • Work collaboratively with BSR executive team, asset management and property management teams

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of three to five (3-5) years’ experience of strong commercial lease administration including pass-through billings.
  • Proficient with Yardi, MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook is required.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical capacities.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Flexible, creative and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is fast-paced and results-driven.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree from Accredited University preferred
