Acquisition Criteria

Since 2002, Broad Street Realty has acquired and developed properties in the greater Washington D.C. area and throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region, recently extending to the Denver Urban Corridor. We have consistently demonstrated the ability to execute complex and challenging real estate transactions. Our portfolio covers a broad spectrum of asset types including retail, industrial, office, multifamily and special purpose facilities and data centers. We ensure success year after year by executing a consistent and demonstrated due diligence process driven by disciplined underwriting in evaluating potential opportunities.

Broad Street currently focuses on acquiring retail assets through a value-added approach. Recently, Broad Street has acquired 15 retail shopping centers consisting of 1.9 million square feet. We look for well-located, yet undervalued neighborhood and community shopping centers, where we can apply our market expertise, financial acumen, in-house management, and development experience to enhance value. We will consider mixed use, office, residential or other opportunities with a significant retail component.
